The Smargo Smart Reader Plus incorporates an integrated USB to Serial converter, which enables the device to work with all standard Phoenix compatible Linux and Microsoft Windows applications.
The SmartReader Plus is the first smartcard reader that can be connected directly into the USB port of a Linux or Windows computer or Set Top Box without the need for extra cables or power supply.
